EVCC Tampere 24.05.2023
We had the pleasure to organize another EV Charging in the Cloud event last week. First EVCC was in Helsinki and this time the event was held at Cirit’s office at Tampere and for the first time people were also able to participate online.
First of all, we’d like to express our gratitude to all the speakers and participants. Both of you are needed to organize great events, so thank you! Feedback for the event has been overwhelmingly positive, which is always nice to hear from the organizer point-of-view.
This time we had keynotes from IGL Technologies, Virta and AWS. Once again, we had excellent presenters and we’re happy to share the content with you.
Antti Hiekkanen, COO at IGL Technologies
Antti told the great story behind eParking.fi and their journey to becoming one of the major EV charging players in the Finnish market.
Tolga Tunçbilek, Director of Technology and Artem Kajalainen, Lead Infrastructure Engineer at Virta
Tolga and Artem held a two-part keynote describing how Virta became an international EV charging platform & network, and how their cloud infrastructure has evolved to support rapid growth.
Étienne Castanié, IoT GTM Specialist at AWS
Étienne presented how AWS can enable building EV charging software infrastructure in fast and cost-effective way by offering architectural guidelines, open source software and expert support.
We’re living exciting times as the EV charging scene is rapidly developing. There are a lot of different technologies, companies and people working at a high-speed pace in making the world more electric. Finnish technology companies like Kempower, Virta and IGL Technologies are leading the way and we are sure there is potential for many more.
Cirit’s approach to EV charging is the cloud and software. Even though the ecosystem is new, many of the technologies used have been leveraged in other domains for years now. Cirit’s experience in software development enables us to help our customers develop better cloud infrastructure, applications and mobile solutions.
You can stay up-to-date by subscribing to our EVCC newsletter and joining the EVCC meetup. See you at the next event!
